Measure to Order is a small collection of practical planning tools intended to turn ordinary project measurements into quantities and purchasing decisions that are easier to check.

Why this exists

Many material calculators stop at a theoretical volume. Real purchases also involve density, waste or extra material, compaction, supplier minimums, order increments, package sizes and delivery charges. The Gravel Project Planner keeps those assumptions visible so you can replace defaults with the values on a supplier quote.

What the tool does not do

It does not choose an engineered section, certify a construction method, provide a supplier quote, or replace local code, manufacturer or contractor guidance. The result is a planning estimate built from the measurements and assumptions you enter.

How the site is designed

The current planner runs in your browser without an account. Project inputs are saved locally in the browser when storage is available. The first release focuses on gravel because the buying decision often involves multiple units and supplier terms that are easy to compare incorrectly.
